CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A pool tournament, hosted by a group that works with people with special needs, was held Sunday in Cambria County.
The tournament was held at Mully's Billiards, located along Scalp Avenue in Johnstown, and was hosted by the organization Crossroads to Independence.
Competitors were dressed in green for Saint Patrick’s Day as they moved from table to table for a skills competition.
Organizers set up shots, some at difficult angles or trick shots, and gave the competitors a few attempts to make the shot.

Amtrak officials confirmed a train heading from New York to Washington D.C. had 368 passengers on board when it came into contact with two people who were trespassing on the tracks around 4:30 p.m.
One witness said there were at least half a dozen kids walking on the tracks before the incident took place.
DENVER (TND) — The Denver Police Department (DPD) will soon use drones as first responders after the city cut millions from the force's budget to aid migrants.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced in April a plan to cut a combined $45.9 million worth of expenses from city agencies. The police department alone received a cut of $8.4 million, while the fire department's budget was slashed by $2.5 million.
A DPD spokesperson confirmed to The National Desk (TND) Tuesday drones are becoming a more substantial part of their operations and could soon replace humans for some 911 calls.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — We continue to celebrate the countdown to WJAC’s 70th anniversary coming up in September by taking a look back through the WJAC archive.
This week's throwback shows not much has changed when it comes to tradition.
This Easter egg hunt from the 1990s proves that.
Of course, the fashion back in the '90s was much different than today.
But the annual tradition of looking for the Easter bunny's eggs goes back centuries, and for the most part has stuck to the same premise.

HONOLULU (AP) — Had emergency responders known about widespread cellphone outages during the height of last summer's deadly Maui wildfires, they would have used other methods to warn about the disaster, county officials said in a lawsuit.
Alerts the county sent to cellphones warning people to immediately evacuate were never received, unbeknownst to the county, the lawsuit said.
Maui officials failed to activate sirens that would have warned the entire population of the approaching flames.

While participants try to avoid 'cracking' eggs at Moneyman's Easter Egg Hunt, they'll still keep trying to 'crack' the code of who the Moneyman is.
"Giving prizes away is sweet, but it's really about the events. My events are pretty unique. I just like making them happy and bringing everyone together," Moneyman told 6 News.
The anonymous Moneyman has a secret identity and gives the community the chance to win prizes at events throughout the year.
UPDATE | Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer released a statement Thursday clarifying the reasoning for the specific charges in the case of a Johnstown grandmother accused of causing the death of her 3-month old grandson.
Johnstown police charged Peggy Lightcap, 40, with child endangerment after the baby allegedly died from a methadone overdose last September.
According to Neugebauer, authorities reportedly indicated that they cannot "prove" that the child died from an overdose, despite the coroner's ruling that the death was a homicide.
2nd UPDATE |Lilly, Pa. – (WJAC) — Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has released the official cause of death for 5-year-old Samson Bowser, who authorities say was allegedly killed by his mother, Jennifer Bowser, on Monday afternoon.
Lees has ruled Bowser's death as asphyxia due to "compression of the chest and obstruction of the airway.'
The coroner's office has also formally ruled his death as a homicide.
Police say 41-year-old Jennifer Bowser was arraigned Monday night after her son was found unresponsive at Martha's Manor, in Cresson Township, where she and her child were reportedly living.
