Clearfield business owner accused of 'grooming' teen employee, police say

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Lawrence Township police department say a Clearfield County businessman is facing charges, accused of "grooming" one his former teenage employees. According to the affidavit, the victim's mother filed a report in early October stating that she believed that her 17-year-old daughter was being "groomed" by 39-year-old Kevin Legenski, the owner of Uncle Buck's Creations. Police say the teen's mother told investigators that she had reportedly found numerous messages between the two, suggesting that they had been engaged in some sort of relationship.

Warriors Mark woman killed in head-on crash on Rt. 350 in Huntingdon Co.

UPDATEHUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — State police say a woman was killed Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Huntingdon County. Troopers say a 59-year-old Wendy Reitz, from Warriors Mark, was killed when the driver of a pickup truck crossed the center lane, along Route 350 near Mountain View Lane, and crashed into her vehicle head-on. Officials say the crash occurred just before 8 a.m. and resulted in Route 350 being closed for some time.

Windber woman killed after being run over by her own vehicle

UPDATE | Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities are providing new details about what led to a vehicle versus pedestrian incident in Hollsopple Wednesday afternoon. Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a Windber woman was killed after being run over by her own vehicle in the parking lot of Jet Beer Distributors. Lees identified the victim as 52-year-old Lisa McKee. Investigators say McKee reportedly exited her vehicle at the establishment and the vehicle drifted backwards and ran her over.

Cello worth $250,000 stolen from a Seattle home

SEATTLE (KOMO) — A cello worth about $250,000 wasstolen from a Seattle home over the weekend, and detectives are seeking information. The stolen instrument is an "1890 Enrico Marchetti cello with a blue and black carbon fiber case," according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). Officers were called to a Seattle home on the 1600 block of 24th Avenue around 5 p.m. Sunday for reports of a burglary, the SPD said.

Crews battle blaze at Scalp Level bar

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Multiple crews were called after flames broke out at a Scalp Level bar Wednesday afternoon. Fire crews were called to Jim’s Place Bar and Grill on the 100 block of Wissinger Road. A 6 News crew on scene says the building has suffered extensive damage. The Scalp Level fire chief says the building was burning for 20 minutes before the fire department was called. He says the building was engulfed in flames when they arrived.
