KLEIN, Texas (CITC) — A Klein, Texas high school teacher was arrested Monday on charges of child trafficking and compelling prostitution of minors. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Klein Independent School District (Klein ISD) teacher Kedria Grigsby for allegedly victimizing three high school students. She recruited “troubled” minors who had run away by offering them hotels to stay at, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The teacher purportedly helped her son, Roger Magee, who was arrested in 2022 for similar charges.

Coroner identifies 3-year-old found dead in hot car

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford reported the victim was 3-year-old Armani Shoemaker. Former Lackawanna Co. defense attorney sentenced for soliciting sex acts as legal payment

LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — A former Lackawanna County defense attorney who pleaded guilty to soliciting sex acts for legal services has been sentenced. Corey Kolcharno was sentenced Thursday to four to 23 months in prison, followed by 2 years probation for providing legal services to female clients in exchange for sexual acts and materials. He had previously pleaded guilty to four felony counts of promoting prostitution. Kolcharno was also required to surrender his license to practice law as part of the plea agreement.

3 transported following rollover crash near Johnstown Inclined Plane

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — 911 authorities in Cambria County say three people were transported to Conemaugh Hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash near the bottom of the Johnstown Inclined Plane Friday afternoon. Officials say crews were dispatched to the crash, in the area of Route 56 and Johns Street, just after 4 p.m. Authorities say all three occupants of the vehicle were transported from the scene. Johnstown Police are investigating the cause of the crash and the severity of any injuries is unknown at this time.
