Evan Gabor, 26, was charged in December after an investigation revealed that he was in possession of child pornography and had performed sexual acts with a dog. Now, police say Gabor faces new charges of sexual abuse, indecent exposure and indecent assault following an investigation by an undercover police officer in Wisconsin.

Johnstown city council withdraws proposal for homeless shelter funded by American Rescue Plan Act

Johnstown city council met for a regularly scheduled meeting this evening. The potential construction of a non-congregate homeless shelter was once again on the agenda. The funding for the shelter would come from the city’s American Rescue Plan Act grant through the HUD Home program. The city received only one proposal that met the required criteria. That proposal was from Victim’s Services and was tabled at previous council meetings. Today, council voted to withdraw it.
