Aliquippa, PA (WPXI) — Authorities say an unusual discovery was made after a call to 911 for an unresponsive man at a home in Pennsylvania turned up dozens of venomous snakes and an alligator.
Officials say more than 150 snakes and an alligator were removed from a home in Aliquippa on Tuesday where a man was found dead.
The man was one of four adults and a young child who lived in the home.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — The Cambria Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for the Nanty Glo fire department on Thursday.
The department recently finished its $650,000 renovation project on an event and banquet facility with the goal of creating an inviting atmosphere and having a space to host meetings, conferences, weddings, and small parties.
The facility has been in the community center for years, hosting numerous fundraisers for the fire department and community benefits.
Somerset County, PA — Robert Miller Jr. has retired after 45 years of service to the Children's Aid Home Programs and the Children's Aid Society foundation in Somerset.
Organizers say miller spent most of his life helping make sure children in the laurel highlands were cared for and had access to the necessary services to be successful.
He also played a role in the building of a new children's home facility.

WASHINGTON (7News) — More than 100 George Washington University (GW) graduates walked out during Sunday's commencement ceremony, protesting the ongoing war in Gaza and calling on the university to divest from companies supporting Israel's military operations there.
The walk-outs happened in two waves during GW President Ellen Granberg's speech, which student protestors booed and chanted through. The protesting graduates and other ceremony attendees joined the around 50 mostly college-aged protestors, including GW students, who had been across the street chanting throughout the ceremony.
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A state audit of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has found that billions of dollars have been diverted over the years that could have been spent repairing roads and bridges.
Auditor General Eugene DePasquale announced the findings of his new audit Thursday, saying that PennDOT could be further along in repairing rough highways and fixing 2,829 structurally deficient bridges had it not been forced to pay state police.
